This Ex-Hire Giant Talon 2 is from our hire fleet, fully serviced by our mechanics with worn parts replaced — so it’s ready to ride straight away. There is some cosmetic damage on the frame from general use.
The Ex-Hire Giant Talon 2 is a capable and confidence-inspiring aluminium hardtail mountain bike, equally at home on forest trails, bridleways, and cross-country routes — making it a great choice for riding in and around the New Forest.
Built around Giant’s ALUXX aluminium frame, the Talon 2 combines a reliable, lightweight chassis with a smooth SR Suntour suspension fork (100mm travel) and hydraulic Tektro disc brakes for consistent stopping power in all conditions. Gearing is handled by an 18-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain, giving you plenty of range whether you’re grinding up a climb or picking up speed on the way down.
The L size comes with 29-inch wheels, which roll over trail obstacles with ease and add to the bike’s sure-footed, stable feel.
