Famed for their ease of use, precision and dependability, the wide-ranging 1×12 electronic gears and powerful hydraulic disc brakes are the obvious choice for the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 SLT. Bosch’s SX motor with 400Wh battery delivers up to 60Nm of pedal assistance with a significant weight saving. Combined with the lightweight C:62 carbon frame and fork plus carbon Newmen Phase 30 wheels, the result is a notably svelte grand tourer – and that means one that’s easier and more fun to ride. It’s just as practical as ever, though, with our super-sturdy IC 3.0 Integrated Carrier and a full complement of accessories. Across town or across continents, it’s got your back.

Frame description

A lighter touring bike means you can take more with you, but low weight is no good without strength. That’s why, for the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid C:62, we used our tried-and-tested C:62 carbon to build a frame structure that combines the load-bearing capacity you need with the comfort and ride handling that you’d expect from Cube. With a UDH derailleur hanger, Advanced Internal Cable Routing and Boost front and rear axles, it’s both elegant and easy to live with. The rigid carbon fork is light and responsive, while the IC 3.0 rear carrier is adaptable and offers a sturdy platform for carrying whatever you need to take with you. Add the 400Wh battery, and it’s the complete package for lightweight hybrid touring.
